Pre-stacked spring washers (greased or non-greased) are added to high load bearing bolted assemblies to maintain distance between parts of machinery or to provide flexibility as well as allow thermal expansion and vibration.
These washers are shrink wrapped with a perforated tab for ease of installation into the assembly helping to avoid errors in the assembly process.
The operator can perform guided stacking to keep the washers in position. It can achieve inner guidance such as a rod through the inner diameter or outer guidance with the use of a sleeve.
